Kara Jones has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Arts and Teaching with Elementary Certification.  She lives in Oswego with her husband and two children.  

After teaching and working with educators and students, she wanted to gain more knowledge and experience helping families become more involved in their children's school and their education.  Working with the Parent and Educator Partnership project enables her to balance work and family and ultimately become a more well-rounded educator.

PARENT MENTOR IMPACT SURVEY:

The ISBE and the Parent Mentor Project want to learn more about the experiences of parents with children who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the impact of the services of the Parent Mentor working in your area. To take this survey online, you will need to know the name of the school district that operates the Parent Mentor Project in your area. The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
