Provider Description

The District Leadership Institute will prepare District Facilitators for Partnerships to lead and support schools in organizing sustainable partnerships that link family and community involvement to student achievement and other school improvement goals. The District Facilitator for Partnerships will be the key contact person and should be a member of the Superintendent's Leadership Team.

At the District Leadership Institute, new District Facilitators for Partnerships will learn the components of building an effective partnership program and their dual roles to improve district-level leadership and to assist schools to strengthen school-based partnership programs. By the end of this one-day workshop, district facilitators will be able to:

• Guide the district in developing a district action plan for partnerships;
• Conduct school Action Team for Partnerships training;
• Guide schools to write and implement an effective one-year action plan
