Tricia Luzadder is the Parent Mentor for the Chicago area.  She and her husband, Monte, are the parents of three children, 2 sons and a daughter, who has Down Syndrome.  Since her daughter's birth, Tricia has been involved with the National Association for Down Syndrome (NADS), first as a volunteer with NADS and then becoming the Family Support Coordinator for the organization.  Tricia has also been involved in the Inclusion Committee at her daughter's school.  She very recently joined Chicago Public Schools as the Parent Involvement Administrator in the Office of Special Education and Supports.  She is looking forward to working with parents and educators alike.

PARENT MENTOR IMPACT SURVEY:

The ISBE and the Parent Mentor Project want to learn more about the experiences of parents with children who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the impact of the services of the Parent Mentor working in your area. To take this survey online, you will need to know the name of the school district that operates the Parent Mentor Project in your area. The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
