Hello my name is Robin Williams. I have 2 boys with IEP's for ADHD and OCD and Anxiety disorder. I have been involved in Special Education for about 11 years. Before becoming a Parent Mentor I worked as a Paraprofessional and Para Pro Trainer. I understand both sides
of the IEP table, as I have been on both. My goal is to bridge the gap between parents and educators to find a common ground for the success  of our students.

I have a lot of experience with severe ADHD and have a great understanding of the condition and how it affects home and school. If you have any questions or need training on any Special Education issues please notify the Parent and Educator Partnership for a Parent Mentor close to you.

PARENT MENTOR IMPACT SURVEY:

The ISBE and the Parent Mentor Project want to learn more about the experiences of parents with children who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the impact of the services of the Parent Mentor working in your area. To take this survey online, you will need to know the name of the school district that operates the Parent Mentor Project in your area. The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
