Lending Library

The Illinois Statewide Technical Assistance Center (ISTAC) maintains a lending library including books, videotapes, and DVDs related to various aspects of special education, general education and parenting. Checked out materials are available to Illinois residents and are mailed with return postage included.

Parent Leadership Workshop: Individualizing the IEP

The intent of this 2-day workshop is to equip parent leaders to support parents and caregivers for meaningful participation in the Individualized Educational Program (IEP) process. Great attention will be given to the essential parts of the IEP, such as: Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance; Measurable Annual Goals; Progress Monitoring; Least Restrictive Environment; Accommodations and Modifications; and Transition planning.
