Tuesday's Child

Tuesday's Child combines parent training and a child center for families experiencing difficulties like non-compliance, bedtime or mealtime issues, and socialization problems. Tuesday's Child has a tradition of two decades of community service through parent education, leadership development, and early intervention programs for fragile families and children at risk. The program's long-standing philosophy is that it is the early relationship between parents and children that builds the foundations of both a strong family and a successful future for the children.

The program has brought this critically needed intervention services to thousands of families, including those at risk of abuse and neglect, families of children with special needs, and families dealing with some strong-willed, independent children. At Tuesday's Child, families find support, parenting skills, and advocacy education tools to strengthen their lives. The program helps children at risk of early academic failure or peer-rejection, children with developmental delay, and children with behavioral/emotional disorders make a successful start at school and at home.
