IDEA 2004 Official Regulations

The Secretary issues final regulations governing the Assistance to States for Education of Children with Disabilities program and the Preschool Grants for Children with Disabilities Program. These regulations are needed to implement changes made to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, as amended by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (Act or IDEA). The regulations take effect on October 12, 2006.
