Lesley studies Communication Disorders with a concentration in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology at Northern Illinois University. She is a close relative to a child with Autism and another with Learning Disabilities. As a result, she comes to the project with sincere empathy for children with disabilities and their families. Lesley aspires to work with adolescents with disabilities in the future. She feels the Parent Educator Partnership program will greatly extend her knowledge of and ability to contribute to families and individuals who face physical, cognitive and/or behavioral challenges.

She, along with Merle and Yvonne, has great enthusiasm about our work and hopes to bring exceptional skills and abilities to the project.
